From July 1 to November 13, winegrowers can apply for aid for pest control under a state aid scheme, related to the implementation of measures under the National Program of Measures for Prevention of Spread and Control of Pests on Grapevines (genus Vitis).
From July 1, 2026, producers of wine and dessert grapes can apply for support under the state aid scheme „Aid for compensating costs of agricultural producers related to the implementation of measures under the National Program of Measures for Prevention of Spread and Control of Pests on Grapevines (genus Vitis)“. The budget of the state aid for 2026, approved by the Managing Board of the State Fund Agriculture, is EUR 2,556,000.
Agricultural producers submit an application for support in the form generated by the Integrated Administration and Control System (IACS) to the territorial structures of the State Fund Agriculture, at the permanent address of the natural person or sole trader, or at the registered office of the legal entity.
The deadline for submitting applications and presenting documents is until November 13, and by December 11, 2026, the State Fund „Agriculture“ will pay out the financial aid under the scheme.
The support aims to compensate part of the costs incurred by agricultural producers for the purchase of plant protection products against grapevine pests.
The maximum aid intensity is up to 100% of the costs for purchasing plant protection products used for controlling and limiting the spread of pests on grapevines (genus Vitis), but not exceeding EUR 306.77/ha, VAT included.
Costs for plant protection products incurred during the current year are recognized.
The eligible plant protection products used for controlling and limiting the spread of pests on grapevines (genus Vitis) are described in the National Program of Measures for Prevention of Spread and Control of Pests on Grapevines (genus Vitis).
The guidelines for the implementation of the state aid are published on the State Fund Agriculture website in the „Schemes and support measures“ section, „State aid“ subsection – „Short-term support schemes“.
